Al-Ahli made a proposal worth €70m (£59.3m) to Napoli for the signing of Victor Osimhen.

However, there is no agreement with the player.

It’s understood Osimhen wants to wait until the deadline to see if Chelsea and PSG come in with an offer.

If not, he will then consider the Saudi offer. Their window closes on October 6.

Clearly, Napoli would prefer him to to go to Saudi now so they can fund other moves.

As it stands, Osimhen wants to stay in one of European football’s top five leagues – ideally with Champions League football.
